Since 2020, he has been the Lead Spatial Sound Engineer at MONOM, contributing to the technical delivery of hundreds of immersive art projects and music productions. During this time, he has worked on projects involving more than 250 artists, including Jon Hopkins, Patti Smith, James Blake, Erykah Badu, Rosalía, Blood Orange, Suzanne Ciani, Max Cooper, and Willem Dafoe.

 

Beyond his work in Berlin, Shehryar has contributed to international productions across South Korea, Greece, London, and New York, including work for the Tribeca Film Festival and three Paris Fashion Week productions for major brands.

Shehryar Ahmad is a Berlin-based spatial audio engineer, producer, composer, and artist from Lahore, Pakistan. His work explores the intersection of immersive audio, experimental music, and sound system design, combining technical precision with a deep understanding of how sound shapes space, perception, and storytelling.

Specialising in high scale technical production, spatial audio, multichannel networked speaker systems and immersive sound design, Shehryar works at the intersection of technical precision and artistic practice, helping artists and creative teams realise ambitious audio experiences across a wide range of performance environments.
